TEAM.K FENCING TERMS OF USE FOR PAYMENT

  1. An initiation Fee. There is an (re)initiation fee of $125.
    • Each time you decide to put a membership on hold for whatever length of time and then continue again, you must pay the re-initiation fee.
  2. All membership payments are due on the 1st of each month.
    • Month-to-month memberships will have automatic withdrawal based on the Membership Start Date. As payment for your enrollment in the Team.K Fencing Program, you agree to directly pay Team.K Fencing.
  3. Purchased private lessons must be utilized within six months of the purchase date, after which they will automatically expire.
  4. If your membership is upgraded (promoted), you will need to purchase the new membership through the website. The cost of the previous membership will then be replaced by the fee for the new membership.
  5. Paid in full memberships, Purchased private lessons, and initiation fee are non-refundable.
  6. STRIP COACHING DEPOSIT POLICIES:
    • A 100 dollar, non refundable deposit will be required at least Two weeks before the date of the event for each event you or your fencer participates in. This 100 dollar deposit will be credited to the final amount due for strip coaching. Staff needs two weeks to calculate the cost of strip coaching, book flight, and arrange for the transformation.
    • To illustrate, if a fencer is competing in an event at a tournament,100 dollars will be due at least two weeks before the first event. If a fencer is competing in 2 events, 100×2 or 200 dollars ill be due, 3 events 100×3 or 300 will be due, etc.
    • The final coaching fee is sent by email only to those who have paid the deposit. Once the deposit is paid, it cannot be refunded or changed, so you must pay the full amount.
    • If a fencer does not fence in the event(s), the deposit will not be refunded.
    • The Balance will be due no later than the morning of the first event.
    • Failure to pay the balance on the due date will result in loss of the deposit and no strip coaching.
    • If the strip coaching fee turns out to be less than 100 per event, a refund will be given back to you.
    • Requests to obtain strip coaching within two weeks of an event will not be considered.
    • Team. K Fencing would also like to remind members that fencers and parents must remain at the tournament to support their team mate(s) as long as a Team.K fencer is competing in the event they are competing in.
    • To illustrate, if you are one of 3 TeamK fencers fencing in event X at Tournament Y you will be required to remain until no one from TeamK is competing in the event X at Tournament Y.
